My name is Renée Duncan, and my original introduction to Salesforce was at a nonprofit technology convention in 2014. As the Communications and Special Projects Coordinator for a small service dog organization and a general jack-of-all-trades, most of my day revolved around technology, succession planning and marketing. Obviously, my favorite part of the job was dogs. 🙂 But the next best thing was being able to focus on how to accomplish the most with the least amount of resources.
That’s where my love for CRM’s and especially Salesforce comes in. Salesforce removes bottlenecks that many organizations don’t realize they have, leaving exponentially more bandwidth for financial and human resources.
In recent years, I served as a freelance Photographer + CRM and Content Strategist, primarily serving the real estate industry. I specialized in CRM setup and management for improved client communications, as well as content curation and automation for a strong, local online presence. I’m now a Product & Knowledge Manager for a Salesforce Partner company serving the real estate industry and enjoy putting what I’ve learned in the for-profit world to use for nonprofits.
